A Renaissance gem in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands of Central Europe
With the help of Italian masters, the original Gothic castle changed into fetching Renaissance garb more than four hundred years ago. The castle lords were so dazzled by their magnificent work that they revered and preserved the architecture and never ordered any major changes to be made. And so the château stands proudly here to this day, drawing countless curious glances from near and far. Thanks to its undeniable charm, Telč Château has been keeping good company on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992.
